Smoky Crystal necklace 2

This pendant is composed of a one of a kind hand carved setting, and paired with one of the most beautiful crystals in the world, Smoky Quartz…specifically Smoky Quartz from the Göscheneralpe region of Switzerland.

I carved a matching second termination for the crystal out of wax, and added a custom setting and carved it out so that only this crystal would fit inside it, then it was cast straight to 100% sterling silver using the lost wax technique.

I added 2 rings to the ring so this one-of-a-kind pendant can be worn either high around the neck or low and dangling depending on your preference. It comes with the long chain shown.

Some of the most famous & valuable smoky quartz is found in the Swiss Alps in the Göscheneralpe region. They are highly prized among collectors because of their remarkable clarity. These ones in particular are crystal clear in most places, but have a few matte faces.

They’re truly epic pieces, and these pictures do not do them justice at all.
